Birthday Catering
Birthday catering that suits the party you are throwing
A first birthday, a milestone birthday and an evening house party all need quite different food. We put together menus that match the age group, the time of day and how long guests are staying.
Snack-led party or a full sit-down meal
The biggest decision is usually format. A standing evening party works best with snacks, chaat and things guests can eat with one hand. A lunchtime celebration where people settle in usually wants a full meal with rice, breads and a proper dessert.
Tell us which it is, roughly how many people are coming and whether children are eating, and we will build the menu from there. Milder preparations can run alongside the regular menu so mixed age groups are covered without cooking two separate meals.
We cater birthdays across Gwalior, at home and at booked halls, from small gatherings upwards.
How we approach birthday catering
Snack-led or full meal
Starters and chaat for an evening party, or a complete meal where guests are staying longer.
Menus for mixed age groups
Milder preparations alongside the regular menu where children and older guests are eating together.
Live snack counters
Chaat and other interactive counters keep guests occupied and work well for standing parties.
Dessert tables
Indian sweets, plated desserts or a mix, coordinated around a cake you arrange separately.

Worth knowing
Standing or seated
Standing parties need food that is easy to eat with one hand. It changes the menu more than most people expect.
How long the party runs
A three-hour party and a six-hour one need different quantities and different service timings.
Catering at home
For home catering we check kitchen access, power and counter space before finalising what can be cooked on site.

Birthday Catering questions
If your question is not here, ask us directly. We would rather answer it before you book than leave you guessing.
Read all FAQsIs there a minimum number of guests?
We cater for a wide range of event sizes, from family gatherings through to large functions. Tell us how many people you are expecting and we will let you know what format works best at that size.
Can we change the dishes in a menu or package?
Yes. Packages are a starting point rather than a fixed product. Dishes can be swapped, courses added or removed, and spice levels adjusted. If you have a particular dish in mind that is not listed, ask us about it.
What do you need from the venue?
Typically access for setup ahead of service, space for the counters or serving area, and water and power where cooking happens on site. For home catering we will check kitchen space and access before finalising the menu.
How is catering priced?
Catering is usually quoted per guest, and the figure depends on the menu you choose, the number of guests, the service format, the date and the venue location. Because those vary so much between events, we quote per enquiry rather than publishing a fixed price list.
