Catering packages for every celebration

Starting points, not fixed menus

Every event is different. These packages exist to give you something concrete to react to, and each can be adjusted around your guest count, preferred cuisines, dietary requirements and event format.

Every package is a starting point. Dish counts, courses and service formats can all be adjusted, and any package can be prepared as a Jain or no onion, no garlic menu.

Why there is no price list

Two events running the same package can cost quite different amounts. Rather than publish a per-person figure that would be wrong for most enquiries, we quote against your actual event.

What a quote depends on

  • Number of guests
  • The dishes you choose
  • Event location
  • Date and time of the event
  • Service format and staffing
  • Any add-ons
  • Dietary requirements

Dietary requirements

Any package, adapted to your requirements

Tell us what needs to be left out and we will confirm it back to you in writing before anything is finalised.

Not every dish can be prepared for every requirement, because some depend on ingredients that would need to be excluded. Availability can be confirmed while finalising your menu.

  • Pure vegetarian throughout

Every package is vegetarian by default. There is no non-vegetarian option to opt out of.

  • Fully Jain

A whole package prepared without onion, garlic and root vegetables, to the requirements you set out.

  • No onion, no garlic

The same menu cooked without onion and garlic, with root vegetables excluded where you need them to be.

  • Jain alongside the main menu

Jain preparations for part of your guest list, cooked separately, served with their own utensils and labelled.

  • Mixed cuisine preferences

One regional cuisine or a combination across several, balanced so the meal still works as a whole.

By meal

Planning around the meal

A package can also be shaped around when people are eating rather than how large the event is. These are the usual shapes.

  • Breakfast catering

For morning ceremonies and functions that start before lunch. Lighter, and usually made fresh at the counter.

    Main items
    Two or three breakfast dishes
    Accompaniments
    Sambar, chutneys or pickle
    Beverage
    Filter coffee or masala chai
  • Lunch catering

The most common format. A full meal that works for daytime functions, ceremonies and corporate events.

    Starter
    One or two varieties
    Main course
Two or three varieties with dal
    Rice and breads
    Rice plus fresh Indian breads
    Dessert

  • Dinner catering

Usually the fuller meal of the day, and where live counters and a wider dessert selection tend to appear.

    Welcome drink and starters
    Main course
Three or more varieties with dal
    Rice and breads
    Assorted rice and breads

Optional extras

Things you can add on

Any of these can be added to any package. They change the quote, so they are agreed before the menu is confirmed.

  • Additional starter

Another variety added to the starter selection.

  • Additional dessert

An extra sweet or plated dessert alongside the menu.

  • Chaat counter

A live chaat counter assembled and served to order.

  • Live dosa counter

Dosas made to order through service.

  • Beverage station

Welcome drinks, chaas, juices and hot beverages in one place.

  • Additional cuisine

A second regional cuisine added across the menu.

  • Additional serving staff

More service staff for larger guest counts or seated service.

  • Upgraded buffet setup

Counter styling, serveware and linen beyond the standard setup.

These are example options. Whether a given add-on is possible for your event depends on the venue, the date and the guest count, so we confirm availability when planning your menu.

From package to quote

How customising a package works

  1. Choose a starting package

Pick whichever is closest to the scale of your event. It does not need to be exact.

  2. Tell us about your event

The occasion, the date, roughly how many people and where it is being held.

  3. Customise dishes and requirements

Swap dishes, change counts and set out any Jain or no onion, no garlic requirements.

  4. Confirm guests and service

Final guest count, service format, staffing and any add-ons are agreed.

  5. Receive your quote

You get a written quote against the menu you have chosen, with nothing left implied.

Package questions

If your question is not here, ask us directly. We would rather answer it before you book than leave you guessing.

Read all FAQs
  • Can catering packages be customised?

Yes, and most are. A package is a starting point that shows how a menu is usually put together. Dish counts, courses, cuisines and service format can all be changed around your event.

  • Do you have fixed per-person pricing?

No. What a package costs depends on the dishes you choose, the guest count, the venue, the date and the service format, so we quote per event rather than publishing a fixed per-person rate.

  • Can we combine different regional cuisines in one menu?

Yes, and most events do. A single menu commonly draws on South Indian, North Indian and Gujarati or Rajasthani preparations together. We will keep the combination balanced so the meal works as a whole.

  • Can the entire menu be Jain rather than just part of it?

Yes. A complete menu, from welcome drinks through to desserts, can be prepared without onion, garlic and root vegetables. Many religious functions and housewarmings are catered this way.

  • Can I add more starters or desserts to a package?

Yes. Items can be added to or removed from any package. Tell us what you want more of and we will adjust the menu and the quote accordingly.

  • How much food is needed for my guest count?

It depends on more than the headcount: the time of day, how long guests are staying, whether the event is seated or standing, and how many dishes are on the menu all change the quantities. Give us those details and we will plan quantities rather than leaving you to estimate.

  • Can packages include live counters?

Where the venue allows them, yes. Live counters need space, power and clearance from the venue, so we confirm what is possible before adding one to your menu.

  • What happens after I send an enquiry?

We come back to you to understand the occasion, the guest numbers and any food requirements, then put together menu options and a quote. Once you are happy with the menu, we confirm the details in writing before the date is held.
